Question:

Besides TCP/80, are there any other ports required to be open when accessing Helpdesk through a firewall?

Answer:

Besides serving web pages, the application checks email, so you can also white-list the email ports.

If you install a secure certificate, besides port 80 the application will use 443 or whatever you specify for secure connections.

If you host the app locally, it will also connect to your SQL Server for exchanging data with the database.
