Troubleshooting Macro Recorder installation
In some cases you can experience dificulties with Macro Recorder installation. Here is what you need to check first:
1. Make sure you have .NET 4.0 is installed
This is especially important for Windows XP users. Here is how to check what versions you currently have installed: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318785
You can download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718 Make sure to reboot your PC after the installation.
2. Turn off your anti-virus
Macro Recorder uses some technics similar to those used by some viruses, that makes some anti-virus sowetware to show false positive alarms. Don't worry, Macro Recorder does not contain any viruses, we check it daily.
It's safe to disable your anti-virus during the installation, please do that if you experience problems.
