Custom fields for User and Company

Can you add the ability to create Custom fields on User and Company records please?

Agreed, would be very useful, or at least a way to retrieve data via integrations. We have a CRM that contains all of our customer data. I like the customer user lookup feature where we can make a GET request to a custom URL and return HTML/JSON content, however actually being able to use that data could be useful. Ability to add custom fields at each level could solve this problem, then we could just develop our own custom integration from CRM to Ticket Portal. (P.S. ability to choose custom field types and whether they are editable, in case they are imported, would be ideal).

This would be ideal. Especially if the fields match with AD sync'd fields e.g. Create a custom field for a user of "employeeID' that matches the AD field of the same name.

In the custom field creation form you could have a tick box that says "is AD field" and an input box that asks for the corresponding AD attribute name and then just pick up the date from AD. Would be so much more efficient and save having to run additional infrastructure to support getting the data in via the USER LOOKUP DATA process.

@Alex, Glad to hear it! Looking forward to the Company one. Any plans on adding the "lookup" feature for Company records as you have it for User records? We could also benefit from one at the ticket level as well (i.e. pull in a view of actions/events/bug reports from our CRM that are linked to a particular ticket).

We appreciate y'alls time and effort in this.

@Alex, meant to ask, are there plans to add API endpoints to pull in custom fields for the User/Company records? We will need these for various integration points (i.e. inserts, updates, and ideally searches/filters too) in order to properly manage these custom fields.

My opinion :
Ability to select some "user custom fields" to display on "user list grid" (https://xxxx.jitbit.com/helpdesk/Admin/Users) should be great also -_-

This is huge. So many good things come of this. Linking users and companies to other systems for reporting and integration. Storing notes about a user or company.
