Frequently used categories show up first for techs

Wouldn't it be great if JitBit remembered the categories used by a tech and then displayed those first at the top of the Categories pick list?

My techs have a large pick list of custom categories to chose from (maybe 20 plus).  it would be very useful if JitBit favourited or remembered which categories a tech used the most and displayed these first in the drop down saving them time by not having to scroll down the long list we have.  Some or used more frequently than others, some rarely. so this would improve the usability of the tick interface.

Which page are we talking about? The "new ticket" one?

Yes, new ticket would be helpful, but It would add more value on the "Details" section of an existing ticket as that is where the most volume of edits on category is made when processing new tickets from Unassigned..

Also, could replicate the section grouping of categories when you edit the category pick list so it behaves like it does in the new ticket window? if not, just showing the top 3 most used by that tech at the top of the list would be a great help.

I agree, the section grouping on the existing ticket page would be a nice feature to have. I also like the frequently used categories idea as well.
