Report Based on Ticket Status Rather Than Date

Would love to see a new type of Detail Report added to the Report Section that allows for filtering tickets based on the Ticket Status (ie. Open) rather than having it base filter by date.  Some tickets may sit for longer than a year depending on Prioritization.  I'd love a quick and easy way to generate reports of what we have in queue (and perhaps filter by Category).
