Linux support and Docker

This is a very long term suggestion, but it would be great if the app could be modernized and transitioned to ASP.NET Core so that it could be Dockerized in Linux containers. (or even just host it on Linux in general) :)

We're working on this! But it's an enormous amount of work. Currently the codebase is 80% compatible with Core but the remaining 20% are the hardest. Basically needs a completely rewrite.

The app (only the SaaS version for now) has been ported to .NET Core and supports linux. https://www.jitbit.com/news/5363-jitbit-is-ported-to-net-core/ We'll spend a couple more weeks (probably less) monitoring performance, nitpicking bugs and watching everything closely and then start preparing a server build. Which is tricky cause we need to rewrite the "setup" and make sure clients have prerequisites (mainly on Windows)
