Custom field with read-only HTTP request lookup type

I would like a custom field type that is real-only and simply displays the result of a HTTP request.

This would be very useful as general purpose integration mechanism, especially on screens that already show custom fields, but do not have any other integration to display additional data.

This also avoids having to abuse custom fields to duplicate and store data from other systems as a means to get it displayed on one place for the technician.

I think this would be very powerful.

*bump* This is a missing integration in my mind. In our case our host system can look up an order number in the ticket and show extra information right there in the ticket details panel. Please upvote.
