New automation - Remove all technicians and admins from ticket

Case:

Assigning a new tech to a ticket should remove the previous tech.

  1. A new ticket comes in.
  2. The admin goes to assign the ticket to person A
  3. Later, the ticket needs to go to person B, so the admin assigns the ticket to person B.
  4. The problem is that person A is not removed as a subscriber and they still get all future email updates.

    Assigning a new tech to a ticket should remove the previous tech.

Was there a workaround to this? Did you come up with an automation rule to do this?
