Assign Multiple departments to one Person/Manager

There are many instances where one person Manages/needs to run reports/see tickets for multiple departments.

Right now one person can only have one Dept assigned to them.

Creates issues regarding access and visibility to reports.

Can the Dept field be modified to accept multiple values and for reports /access to tickets build an '&' logic?

I agree. I just ran into this instance where a mgr wanted to see all the support tickets submitted. He can see 34 of the 40 staff members he manages. I cannot move the remaining 6 because they are in a different cost center and it would break our AD processes.
