Currently, the total will display if you do a search, but if you apply a tag to the search, it does not give the total count.

For example, if I do a search for the "Printer" Type, it shows the total at the bottom:

However, if I apply the printer tag at the bottom of the Assets main page, it filters the assets but does not provide a total:
