Please add functionality to setup an out of office auto-reply similar to how you can in email. Users either don't know what the palm tree means, or completely ignore it.

It would be great to see integration with Outlook too

In my opinion if someone emails customer support, they don't care who's on vacation and who's not, they just need an answer. The current "out of office" functionality is mainly for administrators, to give them an indication that "this person is out, we probably shouldn't assign ticket to them"

In our case, we have a single person covering entire departments/sections, so the ability to have an auto-reply would be helpful. Also if a ticket is in progress when someone replies and the assigned tech is out of office it would be a nice notification. I could see how this would not matter if there were several techs covering departments/sections.

This is easily achieved via automation rules. Add a condition "If assigned tech is out of office?" then "send to ticket creator"
