Asset Import-Export Username

I have found that when exporting assets, the user's full name is utilized, however, when import I must use the username (full name does not auto-associate). It would be great if the exported and expected import values were matched in some manner. I have an offline master file for my assets and while learning the import export process, this will be a burden. Thank you!
