Asset: Custom Field - unique autonumbering field
We are in the process of migrating from Cherwell to JitBit (SaaS) one of our core requirements is that each asset we own contains a unique "asset tag". in our case this is a 5-digit number.
A custom field with an auto-generating unique number would be a valuable addition to the product.
e.g., new asset ---> Custom Field "asset tag" is populated with an ascending number staring from 0 which grows indefinitely as new assets are added to the database.
