Support app-only Microsoft 365 mailbox authentication

Hi Jitbit team,

We’d like to request support for connecting Microsoft 365 mailboxes using app-only OAuth / client credentials instead of delegated user authentication.

Our use case is connecting Jitbit to a shared mailbox. The current documented flow appears to require a licensed user account with delegated access to that mailbox. That works, but it creates extra overhead around Conditional Access, MFA, token/session lifetime, password/account lifecycle, and general service-account management.

Ideally, Jitbit would support an Entra ID app registration using client credentials, preferably certificate-based, with mailbox access scoped through Exchange Application RBAC or Application Access Policies. This would allow customers to grant Jitbit access only to the mailbox it needs, without relying on an interactive user session or refresh token.

This would be a better fit for unattended mailbox integrations and would align more closely with Microsoft’s app-permission model for service integrations.
