Automation rule condition "Assigned tech out of office"
Now that has been implemented the "Out of office" flag on users, is should be good (and maybe easy?) to have a new condition for automation rules to know if the technician assigned to the ticket is out of office.
For example, I could create a rule "When a ticket assigned to an absent tech is reopened, make it unassigned", so that other technicians could take care of it.
Or maybe, a rule "When a customer reply to an absent tech, send an automatic message 'the operator XXX is out of office, reply could be delayed'"
