Q: Although the email credentials are correct, the server returns the "incorrect user name or password" error. What could be causing the problem?

A: Please check with your email provider and make sure they do not have daily or monthly message rate limits. Or, if they do, make sure that you do not exceed them. Otherwise, the provider may temporary disable the service, and you will be receiving the "incorrect user name or password" error message.
