Multi-company access by user and/or Company parent child relationship

It would be helpful if a user could have access to multiple companies so that tickets could be managed without having to use multiple usernames and email addresses. In our industry, healthcare, often an IT user supports multiple sub-companies, but those sub-company users should not have access outside of their own company.

We support healthcare facilities where each facility is often a child of a larger facility. It would be useful if a parent child relationship among companies existed. This could help assign access across companies where access to the parent provides access to the children.

We've recently introduced group-based permissions to ticket categories, and user can be a member of multiple groups. Will this help?

Hi Alex, I do not think this could help in our case - unless creating a huge amount of categories.

Typlical use case is a group of companies with one headquarter.
Users (flagged has managers) of each company manage their tickets
Users (flagged has managers) of the head quarter manage their tickets + the tickets of the child companies.

I suggest the a company has one "Mother company" so manager user of a company may access tickets from child companies. This hierarchy could have multiple levels, so it could solve a lot of complex situations.

Hope this helps to choose for a simple & powerful model ;)
