Prevent users from editing tickets

  1. Add "Allow tickets editing" option to settings (on by default)
  2. Optionally, specify who (regular user, technician or administrator) can edit tickets.
Thanks in advance!

This is very much mandatory to have restriction level on ticket subject and body.
Edit on actual ticket content after submission is causing to lose ticket integrity.

We now have a "Restrict ticket editing to Technicians only" setting.

Option to editing restriction for administrator only is also required to preserve ticket integrity.

Echoing Ronik - This needs to be limited to ADMINISTRATORS not Technicians. I am not worried about users changing text in tickets, I am worried that technicians use it to cover their ass.

When a ticket is edited by a technicians, there's a log message and a diff-file of what's changed. Only admins can skip this diff-file from creation

Hi Alex,

It doesn't show any log entry for ticket body and subject.
We need to restrict that to Administrator.

for responses, we do have log entries for technicians.
