Integration with Zabbix alert monitoring tool

Zabbix is an open-source software tool to monitor IT infrastructure such as networks, servers, virtual machines, and cloud services.

We have tried to create as setup to over email with alerts, but updates and resolution will create separate ticket instead of updating on the same tickets. 

Integration with Zabbix alert monitoring tool will be really very beneficial to deal this situation.

We also use Zabbix and have it send the problem and resolution alerts to Jitbit. We just merge the problem and resolution tickets.

We were doing the same until now, We just automated that yesterday.

In the last update, Jitbit has released an new automation that is allowing us to add resolution tickets as a reply on previous ticket with same subject line, You can try that too.

Automation:
1. New option to auto-merge new tickets into previous tickets with the same subject ( Constructed same subject from Zabbix template for problem and resolution both.)
2. "Merge with previous ticket" automation now also allows converting to a reply

Action Item: "Merge with the previous ticket from the same user"

*Look for open ticket with the same Subject
*Look for open ticket with the same Category
*Convert to a reply in previous ticket instead of merging

Ronik, that looks great! I don't think we'll be able to use it though, as we have the same user monitoring hundreds of servers, so the "previous ticket from the same user" in our case is very unlikely to refer to the same server.

Here "user" is representing the ticket creator, that is the email ID configured in zabbix to send out those alert from.
