Integration: Snipe-IT missing to search for "Asset Tag"
We are unable to use the integration as cannot enter the "asset tag" to search for the device, instead we are forced to use the "hardware id" or "asset name". Even in Snipe-IT itself you are presented with a search field on the homepage pointing to the asset tag. So we would like to be able to enter the "asset tag" for the search in Helpdesk, too.

Hi Alex, we're on the hosted trial version.
Just checked and it still shows in the SNIPE IT search bar - either Asset Name or the ID of the asset, which is different from the Asset Tag.

Looks like that label in our UI is misleading. It actually uses SnipeIT "/hardware/?search=WHATEVER" endpoint, where the "WHATEVER" guy can be anything - a name, an ID, a "manufacturer" etc. Just tested this on our test snipeit account and it seems to work. Try on your side

We are on version 11.6.9147.29362 and hosting both software products on premise. It wont work still. Though it says to many API requests to Snipe-IT it will still work with entering the ID manually. With the assat tag it wont work.

We've added a delay to SnipeIT API calls, so our app send them less frequently when you type into the search box. Should be resolved now
