Dear Jitbit Team,
Our development team has been using Jitbit for our issue tracking and we've found it to be a very useful tool. However, we've recently transitioned to a Scrum framework for our development process, and we've identified some key features that would greatly enhance our workflow and make Jitbit even more valuable.
Specifically, we'd love to see improved support for Scrum methodologies, particularly in the areas of sprint management and reporting.
Key Features Request:
- Sprint Management:
- The ability to define and manage sprints within Jitbit, including start and end dates.
- Assigning issues to specific sprints.
- Tracking sprint progress, including burndown charts.
- The ability to easily move issues between sprints.
- A sprint backlog view.
- Scrum Reports:
- Sprint Burndown Chart: A visual representation of the remaining work in a sprint over time. This helps track progress and identify potential roadblocks.
- Burndown=RemainingWork vs. Time
- Velocity Chart: A graph showing the amount of work completed in each sprint, which helps teams estimate future sprint capacity.
- Velocity=Completed Story Points per Sprint
- Sprint Report: A summary of the sprint, including completed and incomplete issues, velocity, and any impediments encountered.
- Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD): A diagram that displays the status of issues over time, helping to identify bottlenecks and improve workflow.
- Backlog Management:
- Improved backlog prioritization and grooming capabilities.
- Story point estimation for issues.
These features would enable us to manage our Scrum process directly within Jitbit, eliminating the need for separate tools and streamlining our workflow.
We believe that adding these features would make Jitbit a powerful tool for teams using Scrum, and we appreciate your consideration of this request.
Thank you for your time and dedication to improving Jitbit.
