we are looking for a way create Tickets which are supposed to be completed within a certain window of time in the future.
For example today is the 2025-05-19 and I want to create a ticket, work on that ticket can only be done starting 2025-05-26 and it has to be done by the 2025-05-30.
The due date can be set with the "Due:" field and behaves as expected. However the "Start date:" field is set when assigning a ticket(and cant be changed before that).
Our current workaround is to assign the ticket, remove the assigned tech (if it can be done by any tech in category) and then change the start date.
The option to let the start date be set at any time would be ideal. Alternatively let us "schedule" tickets, as in Ticket appears on date x with due date y (current scheduling with recurring tickets technically would work, but feels like a worse workaround prone to user errors)
