In our environment, we frequently purchase IT assets such as laptops and network hardware in bulk. Each asset is individually recorded in Jitbit, and we've had to attach the invoice PDF to each asset for documentation and auditing purposes.
Currently, Jitbit only allows attachments to be linked to individual assets. This becomes inefficient when dealing with bulk purchases, as we have to manually upload the same invoice to every asset record, which creates duplicates of the invoice.
Feature Request:
Allow a single attachment (like a PDF invoice) to be associated with multiple assets. Some suggestions:
- A dedicated Vendor/Invoice form where you can attach a single file and link multiple assets to.
- A shared attachment repository where files can be linked to multiple asset records.
This would save time, reduce redundancy, and improve asset documentation workflows for teams managing large inventories.
