When the "Restrict asset management to Administrators only" setting is enabled, the Assets module is completely hidden from non-admin users, removing both view and edit capabilities. We would like an option to allow non-admin technicians read-only access to assets while keeping edit rights restricted to administrators. This would let techs quickly look up asset details without risking accidental changes and maintaining data integrity.
