Dear Jitbit Support Team,
After integrating AI features into the Jitbit Helpdesk Knowledge Base, KB articles have become critically important for us. The quality and volume of KB content now directly affect the performance and usefulness of AI-powered responses.
However, one of our major challenges is importing existing documentation into the Knowledge Base efficiently.
Our company already has a large number of documents stored in folders (Word, PDF, and some HTML files). Currently, the process to publish these documents as KB articles requires too much manual work:
Converting files to HTML one by one
Preparing CSV files manually
Importing articles individually
This approach is time-consuming and not scalable for large document repositories.
We would like to ask whether Jitbit supports, or plans to support, any of the following features:
Bulk import of Knowledge Base articles directly from a folder
Automatic conversion of Word/PDF documents into KB articles
Folder-to-category mapping (e.g., each folder becoming a KB category)
API or scripting-based bulk KB article creation
Any recommended best practice for mass KB migration
Our goal is to publish all documents within a directory structure as KB articles with minimal manual intervention, while preserving titles and basic formatting.
We would appreciate your guidance on:
Existing tools or methods we may have missed
APIs or automation possibilities
Roadmap plans related to bulk KB imports or document ingestion
