In Helpdesk 11.15 the beta feature "Group-based permissions for Knowledge Base and Ticket categories" was added.
As it stands right now you can only assign technician permissions to a group (already a timesaver). This would be even better if it could be extended to also allow group-based "Users with access" permissions to categories.

Can you add whole department users to a group? Not only individual users? It takes time to add 30, 40 or more users to a group.
