Automation Rule IF subticket status changed to status x THEN change status of main ticket
so if a subticket is closed it'll change my main ticket's status

Be nice if we could do other things to the parent ticket as well, like add comments based on a status change of the sub ticket

If this is too difficult to implement, maybe we could at least just have an update posted to a parent ticket when a subticket is closed?

We'll add a new Automation Action "Trigger rule X on parent ticket", so that you can do whatever you want with the parent ticket. We'll also look into fake idea upvotes too :-)
