Azure AD SSO Improvements

Hello,

Just wanted to put it out there that it would be a good idea to improve the connection between Azure Active Directory and Jitbit.

In our case we want to have Azure AD automatically provision and remove accounts to\from our Jitbit Helpdesk.

It would be good if the sync between Azure AD and Jitbit included departments, so they don't have to be set manually.

If I come up with anything else I will add it and if you have anything please add it to this as well.

Department should already sync correctly, make sure Azure is set up to send it. https://support.jitbit.com/helpdesk/KB/View/41061193-saml-attributes-used-by-the-helpdesk

If set up properly, it will already provision users and sync departments.

What we really need is it to sync the thumbnailPhoto attribute. I am passing it in Azure, but Jitbit is not using it.

I agree with Chad, syncing the thumbnail would be nice.

We've added SCIM 2.0 protocol support https://www.jitbit.com/docs/scim/ for automatic user updates/deprovision. Unfortunately SAML protocol does not provide a way to get the user's profile picture BUT! We've just added a simple "Sign in with Microsoft account" feature (in addition to SAML) that requires zero configuration and automatically updates user picture. That sounds great! Will it be available for on-premise soon? I just downloaded ver 11.9.9224.38376 and am not seeing it there.
