#What_Happened# tag or alternative should work in automation rules

When triggering a notification in an automation rule, if you try to access the #What_Happened# tag in the event, it just says "Automation rule notification" instead of the actual last event that happened on the ticket. I would like to have a way to access the actual "what happened" for the ticket within the context of an automation rule.
