List of 5 Sub-ticket enhancement.

Dear Jitbit,

I would like to share with you some suggestion regarding sub-ticket

When a sub-ticket was delegated multiple times (3 shifts), the technician may not be aware that the ticket is part of a main ticket. Would it be possible to have some sort of identifiers on sub-tickets  (prefix or postfix on ticket number), or any indicator to the ticket that identifies it as a sub-ticket and has reference to its mother ticket.

This will come handy in the future when you are backtracking or assigning a ticket. Any technician can easily recognize that ticket has parent ticket and has other task/ticket associated with it.
  1. Has indicator that the ticket is a subticket
  2. subticket has reference to its main ticket
  3. identifies ticket if it has prerequisites to other subticket within its mother ticket.
  4. Main ticket has an option to automatically close once all ticket is completed, if not allows it in automation rule.
  5. Options for a subticket to separate or revert back to main ticket .

Appreciate thanks.

There's an indicator that a ticket is a subticket + a reference to the mother ticket on the ticket page on the right-hand "ticket details" panel. From there you can also remove the "ticket-subticket" relation by clicking the red "X" button

Thanks Alex, Information was available on the lower right pane, just need to scroll up. :)
- Is there a way to automate the main ticket to automatically or via automation to close it once all subticket is completed.

To add to this
Allow an update to the parent/master/mother ticket waterfall down to all sub/child tickets.

By the way, we recently added the ability to close all subtickets when closing the parent one.

7. Allow sub-tickets to STAY NESTED below the Master ticket in grid view. Or at least provide indicator that they are sub tickets.

Currently, all sub tickets appear on their own as normal tickets in the grid. There is no indicator in the grid to let us know they are sub tickets to a maser. Then, only when the master ticket is expanded, we can see all the sub-tickets below it. Like a nice Master - Child table. This functionality should be improved.
