Enable Suppressing Email Notifications When Using API

Currently, if you create a ticket with the API, an email is sent such as the ticket confirmation email or a ticket closed email, etc. We would like to have an option such as a parameter than can be passed in via the API to suppress the email notifications for that request. Currently, the only option is to globally disable email. This does succeed in suppressing emails, but then it breaks functionality for new tickets that might be coming in via channels other than API.

Use Case:
I need to migrate tickets from our old system to the JitBit platform. We need to use the API to create those tickets. We do not want to be sending an email to past ticket submitters when we migrate their ticket to the JitBit HelpDesk. We would like to keep the global emails enabled so that if a customer opens a new ticket during the process, the ticket handling will operate normally.
