JIRA returns "400 - bad request"
Make sure you use HTTPS url for your Jira installation, Jira does not allow "basic authentication" for non-SSL connections by default. Also, make sure you do not have any mandatory/required custom fields in JIRA (make them non-required). Refer to JIRA's log to find the specific issue.
