To snooze a ticket, hide it from the "unanswered" queue and get it back on a specific date, simply follow these steps:
- Change the ticket status (for example by "taking" the ticket and moving it to "in progress") this will change the status from "New", and the ticket will be gone from "Unanswered"
- Set the ticket "due date" to the date when you'd like to be reminded of it.
That's it! When the due date comes, the ticket will pop up in the "unanswered" list automatically, you don't have to do anything.
If you'd like to have an additional email reminder once the ticket becomes overdue, you can set up an automation rule with a "when ticket becomes overdue" trigger.
