New Design Beta Release

Today we're releasing the new look for everyone. Here you can read our initial announcement: https://www.jitbit.com/news/new-design/ In that article we laid out the approximate schedule, features and philosophy behind the new design.

UPDATE: Currently all newly created and anonymous users are set to use the new UI by default (on SaaS version only).

UPDATE 2: As of October 7th the support for the old UI is finished. We'll no longer be fixing bugs or adding new features to the old UI. The new design is now out of beta and is the only officially supported version. Read more.

Here is what you need to know today:


1. This is an initial beta release. Expect bugs and inconsistencies while we finish polishing things. That said, we've been using the new design in our team for about a month and we enjoy the experience. Don't be scared to try it.

2. The beta test is opt-in. You can stay on the old design until the beta test ends. We recommend that you give it a try and send us your feedback. We will switch everyone to the new look eventually. Probably until the end of the year. 

3. The opt-in is per user. If you turn it on you'll only see it yourself. All users can decide which version they use during the beta test. 

4. We've changed how color customisation works. You can now customise only one color which we call the "accent color". Check it out in general settings. We might add more colours in the future depending on your feedback.

5. Your "custom css" and "custom js" settings will break. They might not break, but if you did any serious customisation there is a 95% chance that it won't work.

6. The mobile UI is not ready yet, but still should be useable.

How to enable the new design


1. Go to your user profile. Click on your user account on top right.

2. Click "Edit"

3. Toggle  "Try the new design (beta)"

4. Click "Save".
