How to remove URL from email notifications

Question:

Every answer we post is sent by mail and contains a link to the ticket, e.g.

https://support.jitbit.com/helpdesk/Ticket/XXXXXXX

How can I send the answer without adding this link?


Answer:

To remove the ticket URL from the email notification, open the email template on the Administration > Email settings page and remove the #URL# tag from the template.

Then click Save to save the changes.

Please note that the URL can be removed from the standard email notifications only; from messages sent by automation rules (which you create yourself if necessary) the URL cannot be removed.
